Thank you for considering RPL Paving & Landscaping for your project. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.

Payment Terms
A 5% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date and materials.
A further 25% payment is due at the end of the first day of work.
The remaining balance is due in full upon completion of the project, unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed in writing before work commences.

Large Projects

For projects valued at £20,000 or more, or where significant additional work is added during the project, an additional payment of 20% will be required at approximately the halfway stage. This will bring the total paid during the project to 50%, with the remaining 50% due upon completion.

Project Duration

The estimated project duration will be discussed before work begins. Timescales are given as estimates only and may be affected by:

• Weather conditions
• Material delivery schedules
• Unforeseen site conditions

There will be no additional charge if the project takes longer than estimated. Equally, if the work is completed sooner than expected, the agreed contract price remains unchanged.

Pricing
We work on a fixed-price basis, not by the hour or day.
The quoted price covers only the works specified in the quotation.
Any additional works requested by the customer may result in additional charges, which will be agreed before the work is carried out.
Quotations may be subject to revision if there are significant increases in material costs before work commences.

Cancellation Policy
If the project is cancelled by the customer within 24 hours of the agreed start date, a cancellation charge of 10% of the total contract value will apply.
The initial 5% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, except where RPL Paving & Landscaping is unable to carry out the work, in which case a full refund of the deposit will be provided.

Termination of Work

If the project is terminated by the customer after work has commenced, payment must be made for:

• Labour completed to date
• Materials purchased or used
• Plant, machinery, and equipment costs
• Waste removal and disposal costs
• Any other expenses directly related to the project

• Cash payments (by prior agreement)

We are a VAT-registered limited company and are always willing to discuss reasonable options to help customers secure the work within their budget.

Customer Requirements

Any specific requirements, expectations, designs, finishes, or instructions must be discussed and agreed before work begins. If requirements are not communicated beforehand, work will be carried out using our professional methods, techniques, and standards.

Guarantee

All completed work is covered by our 12-month workmanship guarantee.

Cooling-Off Period

Customers are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period where applicable under consumer contract regulations.

By accepting our quotation and instructing RPL Paving & Landscaping to proceed with the works, you confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions and enter into a contract with RPL Paving & Landscape.
